Rising Leaders 2019-2020 Cycle Kickoff

AmCham and the U.S. Embassy welcomed 11 new members to the Rising Leaders Program August 20 and officially launched the 2019-2020 cycle of the program. Rising Leaders is an initiative of the US Embassy and AmCham to provide access for young, up-and-coming leaders from diverse backgrounds to high-level representatives of the established business community. Thirteen continuing members of the program also joined the 2019-2020 cycle kickoff event that was hosted at the US Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Richard Riley’s residence.

2019 AmCham Golf Tournament Recap

Not even the rain could put a dampen on things at the 2019 AmCham Golf Tournament, as over 75 players fought the weather to claim the coveted Søderstrøm Cup at Bærum Golfklubb thanks to the generous support of sponsors Elavon, Google, Lufthansa Group, and PwC.
For 19 years, the tournament has brought together the AmCham community for a day of networking and spirited but friendly competition, and this year was no exception. Players were not only competing for company pride and the Søderstrøm Cup, but also exciting prize packages from Lufthansa Group, Amerikalinjen, Avinor, PwC, Tesla, and Google, in addition to American wines.
