Why Join?

AmCham Norway is one of Norway’s largest business organizations, representing the interests of approximately 230 member companies spread across 21 distinct industry groups. Since 1998, AmCham has worked with pioneers, innovators, and industry leaders in Norwegian-American trade to build Norway’s foremost transatlantic business network.

AmCham’s three pillars – member services, policy advocacy, and events – are at the core of everything we do. The AmCham network offers members extensive, credible connections politically and commercially, while also working to facilitate regular and personal dialogue between our members and key decision makers. Through this network, you can connect, communicate, and stay on top of issues critical to your business, making sure your concerns are heard where it matters most.

Together, we work hand-in-hand with our member companies and government officials to make a difference, building the predictable policy frameworks, knowledge-sharing platforms, and networks powering tomorrow’s transatlantic economy.

The US will remain one of Norway's most important trading partners in the years to come. However, we shall not take our trade relations for granted. My ministry, therefore, gives high priority to continuing our good dialogue with our American colleagues. We also appreciate the work that AmCham does to strengthen business cooperation between our countries. Going forward, I look forward to continuing our close cooperation.

Our Three Pillars

Member Services

Member services stand at the core of what we do at AmCham. Member-driven initiatives such as our cross-industry forums and leadership development programs have helped us quadruple our membership since 1998. We will help you leverage the AmCham network to build partnerships, foster innovation, and connecr with key stakeholders.

Policy Advocacy

Today’s global business climate is an uncertain one. We work hand-in-hand with stakeholders on both sides of the Atlantic to communicate the needs of members when it matters most. From our wide range of policy advocacy initiatives to our industry-specific policy working committees, our advocacy services will give the confidence you need to navigate the transatlantic economy.

Events

AmCham brings leaders, innovators, and key stakeholders together. From our annual golf tournament to Norway’s largest tasting of American wines, our events offer exciting arenas for members to engage, collaborate, and network with each other.
