A perennial member favorite, the annual AmCham Golf Tournament is held each year in late August. AmCham members and their guests* are cordially invited to participate!

Tournament Format

18-hole Texas Scramble (best ball)
Max. 36 handicap (cards to be presented at registration)
Additional contests include longest drive, closest to the pin, and a putting competition.
Additional prizes include American wines and donations from our member companies!
A packed lunch will be provided a tournament start along with beverages.

Pre-tournament practice rounds at special rate, can be coordinated through AmCham.

Tournament Program

07:00 – Registration & Breakfast Buffet at Clubhouse

08:15 – Registration Closes

08:30 – Welcome & tournament information at Driving Range

08:45 – Lunch pickup

09:00 – Shotgun start!

14:00* – End of play, scorecard submission & putting competition

14:15* – BBQ Buffet & Award ceremony

15:15* – Putting Competition Final

15:30* – Tournament close

Tournament History

Since 2000, the AmCham Golf Tournament has brought together the AmCham community for a day of networking – and spirited but friendly competition.

In the course of the past 25 years, the tournament has become one of Norway’s largest corporate tournaments, with an average of 90 players competing for the coveted Søderstrøm Cup each year and an exciting range prize packages generously donated by supporting AmCham member companies.
