Defense Forum Launch
Launched along with AmCham’s US Commercial Service partners, the Defense Forum kicked off at member law firm Simonsen Vogt Wiig (SVW).
MoD Department of Investment Director Odin Standal emphasized the importance of building relations with industry and detailed how suppliers should prepare for upcoming procurements. He also addressed important aspects of the 2022-2029 Future Acquisitions Plan.
Hosts and SVW Partners Espen Bakken and Tor Stokke provided expert insights on commercial conditions in associated public contracts, negotiations during competitions, how to manage tender risks, and issues related to unforeseen events. They also provided an overview of regulations the Norwegian Government is obliged to follow in its interactions with industry.
