U.S. Army Pays 235 Million NOK to Kongsberg Gruppen for Crows Weapon Program

The orders with the U.S. Army are for delivery of Low Profile CROWS configuration for the M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank.

CROWS II (Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station) by the US Army, is a joint acquisition program for weapon stations for the US Army vehicle program,

The M153 PROTECTOR is based on the proven M151, tailor made to meet the specific requirements from the US Government.

The order is related to the deal agreed in 2012. The U.S. Army is one of Kongsberg Protechs largest costumers related to remotely operated weapon stations.

In August 2012 KONGSBERG was awarded the follow-on contract, enabling KONGSBERG to continue the well established cooperation with the US Army.
