The Norway Caucus was established in 1999. The caucus has 37 members, many from districts with ties to Norway through Norwegian-American heritage or business interests. The Caucus serves as a point of contact in Congress for issues of particular importance to Norway, U.S.-Norway relations and the Norwegian-American community. The Norway Caucus meets with visiting Norwegian government representatives and parliamentarians, and is consulted regularly, when issues of interest and concern arise.
