Autumn in Norway

Category: AmCham News

Life abounds in the autumn with each tree and plant grasping to the last memory of the long summer days. It is time to look closely, to stop and admire.

Autumn is a time of transition. Long summer days are quickly being replaced by the promise of the long dark nights of winter. The taste of winter is in the air, with the receding summer farther away by the day.

Autumn is a time to remember what the summer has been here in Norway, now a time for harvest and a time to prepare for the long cold winter ahead. The sky tells the tale of the sun that is once again leaving for the south.

With subtle beauty the last breath of summer fades into the Arctic Nights that will again come without fail to this mystic northern land.
