Coca-Cola Norge

The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) is the world’s leading producer of non-alcoholic beverages. The recipe for Coca-Cola was created in 1886 by pharmacist John S. Pemberton in Atlanta, USA, and in Norway, Coca-Cola was introduced to the market in 1926. Coca-Cola Company Norway owns and manages the brands while Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Norway AS (CCEPN) is responsible for the production, sales, and distribution of Coca-Cola in Norway. From the production facility in Lørenskog, just outside Oslo, Coca-Cola®, Coca-Cola without sugar, Coca-Cola light®, Fanta®, Sprite®, Sprite zero®, Urge, bonaqua®, fuzetea®, Honest®, Powerade®, Minute Maid®, Kuli®, COSTA®, and CHAQWA® are marketed and distributed. Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Norway has over 550 employees in Norway, and Coca-Cola Company Norway has around 10 employees.

British American Tobacco Norway

BAT Norway has a history of over 200 years in the Norwegian tobacco industry. Since 2008, the company has been a part of the BAT Group, a leading, multi-category consumer goods business with a purpose to build A Better Tomorrow by reducing the health impact of its global business through offering a greater choice of enjoyable and less risky products for consumers. BAT is the world’s most international tobacco group with brands sold in more than 175 markets and a portfolio made up of its global cigarette brands and a growing range of reduced-risk New Category products. These include vapor, tobacco heating products, modern oral products including tobacco-free nicotine pouches, as well as traditional oral products such as snus and moist snuff.

McDonald’s Norge

McDonald’s is one of Norway’s largest restaurant chains, with 80 restaurants and more than 5000 employees across the country. This makes McDonald’s an important employer, especially for young people, as many get their first work experience there. McDonald’s is a proud supporter of Norwegian agriculture, and serves Norwegian beef, chicken, potatoes and vegetables. Most of its purchases come from the Norwegian food industry. Being good neighbors everywhere they operate is part of their DNA. In Norway, Ronald McDonald House Charities has opened a children’s house in association with Stine Sofie’s Foundation, providing free assistance to children and youth who are victims of violence and abuse.

Swedish Match is an affiliate of Philip Morris International (PMI). They been a leader in the tobacco industry for more than 200 years and is working to deliver a smoke-free Nordics by 2035. PMI’s Nordic region employs 1,600 people in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Norway, including in production facilities, retail stores, and the Swedish Match innovation center and museum in Stockholm. Their company operates as Swedish Match in Sweden and Norway and as Philip Morris Nordics in Denmark and Finland.

PMI is a leading international tobacco company that is actively delivering a smoke-free future and evolving its portfolio for the long term to include products outside the tobacco and nicotine sector. In 2022, PMI acquired Swedish Match – a leader in oral nicotine delivery – creating a global smoke-free champion. As of December 31, 2023, PMI’s smoke-free products were available for sale in 84 markets. Smoke-free products accounted for approximately 37 percent of PMI’s total full-year 2023 net revenues, and the Nordics was an important contributor to that.
