On Tuesday, November 8, voters across the US will cast their ballots in the midterm elections. All 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 seats in the Senate will be contested. The Democrats currently enjoy a slim margin in Congress and the Senate is evenly split, with US Vice President Kamala Harris holding a tie-breaking vote. The outcome of the elections will have a tremendous impact on President Biden’s agenda and US policymaking going forward.
