The current Corona-crisis – implications and positive communications lessons from APAC

When looking at the experiences in China and across Asia Pacific, it becomes clear that the increasing pace at which the corona virus SARS-CoV-2 keeps spreading will continue to confront us all with vast challenges at personal, economic and communicational level.

While more and more countries follow China’s principles of early detection, early quarantine and early treatment to curb the escalating coronavirus pandemic, businesses and restaurants are reopening in China. However, very slowly, as China continues to sacrifice economic activity for rigorous quarantine measures.

Quo vadis, Communications? A Webinar for Europe & Africa

This experience shows that it’s not just about preparing and continuously adapting crisis plans: now it is time to devote oneself to how communication of brands and companies should look like in the next days and weeks.

BCW invites you to join a webinar on Wednesday, in which three of BCW’s most senior leaders from Asia Pacific will share their lessons learnt from the company’s teams in China, and other APAC countries. Their first-hand experience of how communication of brands and companies did and did not work during the countries’ more than two-months battle to contain the virus can be a great compass for us moving forward.
