Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging and ESG

Leveling up your ESG practices with a Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB) lens: What, Why, How.

In light of the upcoming Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), it has become crucial for businesses to incorporate D&I considerations into their business strategies. This event aims to equip attendees with the knowledge and tools needed to align their ESG practices with D&I principles effectively.

Our speakers, Chisom Udeze, DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging) Strategist & Founder of Diversify, Ingrid Fladberg Brucker, Lawyer & Head of Employment Law at PwC Oslo, Magna Kristine Sørum Saure, DIB consultant and Senior Manager at PwC Oslo, will delve into the the “what,” “why,” and “how” of integrating DIB into their ESG frameworks through thought-provoking discussions, case studies, and real-world examples.

Agenda

Magna works as a DIB consultant at PwC in Oslo, and supports both PwC and our clients. She specialises in how companies can succeed with DIB through a whole system change focus, ensuring that DIB is more than a set of symbolic initiatives. She will focus on how organizations and teams can use the new requirements as important guidelines for Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging initiatives – and how these initiatives can help drive innovation and value creation.

Ingrid has close to 15 years experience working with employment and non-discrimination law, including social sustainability matters, and is a popular speaker and a published author. Ingrid will describe how current Norwegian legislation and coming EU legal requirements will both require and encourage companies to work more structurally for inclusion and diversity. She will explain how CSRD will be a game changer for social sustainability in Europe, and how businesses should structure their work to actually get things done.

Chisom will delve into the significance of the “S” in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and shed light on its implications within a workplace setting. She will share practical insights and actionable strategies on how organizations can effectively implement the upcoming Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and go beyond the mere measurement of diversity identifiers.
