AmCham Sustainability Forum

Members are warmly invited to AmCham’s next Sustainability Forum, where we’ll jointly delve into sustainable development with both KSAT and State Secretary Tore O. Sandvik!

We will meet with KSAT’s EVP Sustainability, Public Relations & Communication, Maja-Stina Ekstedt, who will inform on how their services are playing key role in Norway’s global sustainability initiatives. Maja-Stina is also president of the Norwegian Industrial Forum for Space Activities (NIFRO):

• How is KSAT leading the space industry for climate action and civil protection?
• What are the opportunities for multi-satellite mission services and how can they accelerate space-based global climate initiatives?

Ministry of Trade State Secretary Tomas Norvoll will share his thoughts on progress under the US-Norway Comprehensive Dialogue for Commerce and Sustainability signed last November:

• How can the business community best contribute to offshore wind, advanced batteries, critical minerals, clean hydrogen, carbon management, and maritime industry collaboration as emphasized by the MoU?
• What are Norway’s visions and challenges for further strengthening US-Norway sustainability cooperation?
