Member representatives are warmly invited to our next Financial Forum, where we will jointly examine the US election – what to expect and how results could swing world markets with DNB’s Senior Economist, Knut Magnussen. Financial leaders must closely monitor macroeconomic factors that can impact financial decision-making and risk management.

We will also meet with Amazon Web Services’ Financial Services Specialist Richard Caven to examine the role of cloud in the transformation of finance functions. How can the cloud enable improvements in risk, finance, and treasury data flow? How is cloud adoption shaping financial services?

Before joining DNB Markets’ Macro and FX Research team in 1998, Knut Magnussen served for ten years in Statistics Norway’s research department. On DNB’s team, he has focused in recent years on the US economy and monetary policy.

London-based Richard Caven is a Worldwide Banking Specialist at AWS. He is responsible for the development and execution of strategic initiatives to help customers migrate to the cloud and drive their digital transformation journey.
