Rising Leaders Afterwork: From Startup to Multinational & Back

Guest speaker Marco Forestiere, is Norway Country Director at Amgen. Amgen is one of the world’s largest independent biotechnology pharmaceutical companies – dedicated to discovering, developing, manufacturing and delivering innovative human therapeutics for serious illnesses.

Originally from Italy, Forestiere has extensive healthcare and technology industry experience as a former telecom engineer. Before joining Amgen, he worked at Accenture, started his own company, received an MBA and worked at Eli Lilly. He is still involved in the startup world, currently working with Humetry, a telemetry device to monitor race car drivers.

Forestiere will share his experience in transitioning from a small to a multinational company, as well as his return to the startup world.

Following the presentation and discussion, Tu An Ngo from the US Embassy will lead a discussion on “Finding your Vision.”
