As promoting educational exchange to the US remains an important objective, AmCham, along with Kilroy Norway and NORAM, hosted ‘An Evening of Inspiration’ to inform and excite students about the educational opportunities across the Atlantic. Representatives from four American schools as well as the Council on International Educational Exchange consulted students on the benefits of an American education as well as providing information on the application and financing processes of continuing studies in the US.
Giving insight into her own university experience in the US, former NRK journalist and current Microsoft Public Relations and Community Affairs Lead Christine Korme, advised of the importance of finding the right school that matches future career ambitions. We would also like to specially thank the event’s product sponsors, Coca Cola and McDonalds, for helping to contribute to this valuable experience for the nearly 80 participants who attended.
